Description
This guide explains how to create and manage product units in the system, including base units, parent units, and child units for product configuration.
Procedure
STEP 1 - From the Dashboard, select "Products"
STEP 2 - Click on "Units" to initiate the unit addition process.
STEP 3 - Add the name of the unit, short form of the unit, allow decimals, and click "Save" for the base unit.
STEP 4 - Similarly, create units for parent and child, click "Add as multiple of other unit", enter a quantity of 1 unit, and select the base unit.
STEP 5 - For the parent unit, add products by selecting the sub-unit, choosing the business location, entering the price, and clicking "Save"
STEP 6 - For the child unit, add products by selecting the parent product, choosing the child sub-unit, selecting the business location, entering the price, and clicking "Save"
STEP 7 - Now you can view the products in the combined products section.
