The guide on how to create a discount in the backend

Procedure

STEP 1 - Go to Sell in the Dashboard.

STEP 2 - Within the Sell menu, choose "Discount".

STEP 3 - Click Add in the right-side top corner of the page.

STEP 4 - Enter a Name for the discount (e.g., "Holiday Sale," "Buy One Get One Free"). 

STEP 5 - Select specific products that the discount will apply and choose the categories (e.g., BEVERAGES, DESSERTS) that the discount will apply.

Note: If no specific product or category is given, the discount will be applicable for all.

STEP 6 - Select the Business Location on that box and set Priority as default 1

STEP 7 - Select If the discount is a fixed amount off, select "Fixed Amount" and enter the amount (e.g., $5.00) If the discount is a percentage, select "Percentage" and enter the percentage (e.g., 10%). 

STEP 8 - Set the Date Range for the discount and after entering all the details, click the “Save” button to apply and activate the discount.
